Samoyed Club of Central Arizona NOTICE

The usual Feb meeting was cancelled due to concerns about the Corona Virus. Minutes from our Oct meeting and our Nov get together can be requested. Further meetings will also be postponed until further notice because of the virus. The board continues to teleconference as needed.

The Samoyed Club of Central Arizona is a local Specialty Club serving Samoyed dog fanciers in the central Arizona region. We are a member of the Samoyed Club of America and licensed by the American Kennel Club, Inc.

Club Objectives

  • To further the advancement of purebred Samoyeds and do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection
  • To urge members and breeders to accept the Standard of the Breed as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Samoyeds shall be judged.
  • To do all in it's power to protect and advance the interest of all breeds of pure-bred dogs and to encourage sportsman like competition at dog shows and obedience trials
  • To conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows and obedience trials under the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club

NOTE: The SCCA ByLaws have undergone a memeber approved update which among other things addresses in person meeting issues presented by the ongoing CORID-19 corona virus. The revised bylaws will be posted once approved by the AKC
